ABOUT RANGER CADETS

Structure with purpose.

A brand new, independent, non-profit uniformed youth work organisation built around youth development, essential life skills and active community service.

OUR VISION

Positive. Uplifting. Inspirational.

To be recognised as the most positive, uplifting, vibrant and inspirational uniformed youth organisation in England, empowering young people to become active citizens and successful adults.

OUR MISSION

Unlock potential.

To equip young people aged 11–21 with the essential life skills, tools and community opportunities necessary to unlock their full potential and demonstrate the power of positive youth engagement.

THE CHALLENGE

Two barriers.
One practical response.

Ranger Cadets was established to address a gap in practical life preparation while challenging the stereotype that young people are disengaged from their communities.

01

The skills gap

Young people can leave education without enough exposure to essential adult-life skills such as financial literacy, leadership confidence and basic life-saving first aid.

02

The stereotype barrier

Young people are too often portrayed as apathetic or disconnected. Visible service creates the opportunity to show something very different.

OUR SOLUTION

Training + service.

A structured, progressive syllabus builds practical capability. Uniformed community service then gives cadets a place to apply it visibly and responsibly.

  • Life skills, leadership and character development
  • Badges and qualifications that support confidence and CVs
  • Community events, charity activity and environmental action
  • Uniform that promotes equality, pride and responsibility

02

03

A dedicated Board of Trustees supports robust financial management, legal compliance and charity governance.

04

Safeguarding first

The safety and welfare of cadets are paramount, with rigorous safeguarding policies and procedures aligned with national standards.

INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN

Open to everyone.

Ranger Cadets is non-political, non-religious, inclusive and independent. The inspiration is structure, discipline and pride; the purpose is youth development and community service.
